Redesign, Cryptography, Search Cabinet & Telemetry
This major release implements a neobrutalist terminal layout redesign, client-side AES-GCM document encryption, customizable defaults, a letters cabinet search and filtering suite, and active reading time telemetry with a private access ledger.
- •Integrated client-side cryptography using native Web Crypto APIs (AES-GCM) with secure passcode hashing (SHA-256) for private letter records.
- •Added private profile sub-collection mappings to store letter passcodes securely (wiping plaintext fields from public documents).
- •Enforced secure QR-code-only token verification by default, restricting public guest access to letters that do not contain the cryptographically generated verification token.
- •Implemented a dashboard search console allowing query lookups by title, keywords, or letter ID.
- •Added dashboard letter filters for security status (Protected vs Unprotected), template styles, and date/alphabetical sorting.
- •Enhanced settings layouts to validate and select defaults from all 16 template preset designs.
- •Created an active reading-time tracker that monitors tab visibility to log visitor read-durations.
- •Designed a retro terminal-styled Access Ledger details modal showing visitor date, duration, platform/browser, and engagement status.
- •Integrated Framer Motion throughout the platform to support smooth content reveals, section entries, and UI transitions.
- •Enlarged small font sizes (badges, labels, metadata, stamps, and footer links) by 2px to 3px across all workspace interfaces to improve legibility.
- •Implemented a distance-based scrollspy section tracker and smooth scrolling for the Legal page sidebar navigation.
- •Added a dedicated platform changelog landing page (this page) linked in the site footer to display release histories.
- •Re-styled site elements: custom neobrutalist checkboxes, scrollable select containers, and scrollbar highlight themes.
